Our string duo performed  a wedding today (nothing new!) at the beautiful Elliston.

But what was new was probably the most memorable tips I’ll ever receive– $1.00 each personally given to me and the cellist from a young man dressed so sharply, maybe 12 or so. I thought him very brave too for approaching two people looking so professional…black fancy clothes, instruments, etc. But I guess he was inspired! At this same wedding a 6 year old applauded us, unprovoked by anyone. KIids– got to love them.

I liked the detail in these pics today. I’ve posted so many ‘standard’ pics of just about everywhere, as I think we’ve been just about everywhere! So sometimes it’s just nice to look at the details.

An Elegant Touch of Strings can perform as a string solo, string duo, string trio and string quartet.
