View from the Lick Observatory where we performed as a string quartet a few years back.

I was just looking through some pictures and ran across this wedding site we played for around 3 years ago. I think it was the highest sight we’ve performed or maybe not, just felt like it because we’ve performed dozens in Yosemite too. But the drive up, and up a very winding and often narrow road made it feel extra high I think. Google says Lick Observatory is 4,200 fee and was built in 1888. My father had driven us up there at least once but it was always night, to view from the telescope, so I had no idea how high we were, and anyway I was just a kid!
