We occasionally perform in Monterey and Carmel. There’s not a musician I know that doesn’t revel in the art of the music they perform as well as revel in the art of nature as well. Virtually every composer has tried to capture nature in their music and the most famous might be the Moonlight Sonata and Clair de Lune. I’m not positive but Moonlight Sonata probably wasn’t named by Beethoven. But anyway it’s almost impossible to listen to this famous Beethoven sonata’s first movement without thinking of some scene from nature.
Here’s some favorite shots one of our musicians captured on her south of the Bay Area get-away before a very busy weekend!
